After viewing these videos imagine a classroom where students desktops manufactured with SURFACE technology, students can interact with software applications right on their desks.

By next year Microsoft will be pushing surface Technology and software vendors and developers will be scrambling to create software applications that will interface with this technology.

In my estimation it will take 3-5 years for people to catch the vision and create usable technology that will impact the classroom. However as a tech in education I find this very exciting and I'm looking forward to learning the new technology as it is developed and to be involved in ways that we can leverage the technology to first instruct students and second to interact with data.
